Hello, Hello Bandung! Downtown Bandung to Bali Flights to Resume 14 August 2026

RadarBali and Kompas report that direct flights reconnecting the Metropolitan City-Center Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung will commence to Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport starting 14 August 2026.

What Was Announced

​The service, using narrow-body aircraft to comply with the technical limitations of Bandung Airport, will be operated by Citilink.

​The resumption of jet operations follows Husein Sastranegara Airport’s certified compliance with all technical standards and aviation regulations. These requirements encompass safety, security, and service quality standards for both the airline and the airport.

​Badung to Bali flights from the City-Center Husein Sastranegara Airport ended with the opening of the new Kertajati International Airport, situated in Majalengka Regency, approximately 68 kilometers northeast of Bandung city center.
