Travelers planning to attend the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia in Lombok can book integrated travel packages combining race access with transportation and accommodation.

according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, Indonesia's state-owned tourism-area developer InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) launched the packages to simplify travel for domestic and international visitors heading to the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok.

The 2026 Indonesian MotoGP is scheduled for October 9-11, 2026.

What the Packages Include

Depending on the package, travelers can purchase combinations of: MotoGP race tickets - Hotel accommodation - Flights - Airport hospitality - Airport transfers - Transfers to the circuit - Travel and event logistics - Dedicated host assistance

For international visitors, National Archipelagic Wire reported a four-day, three-night package including hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, a Regular Grandstand ticket, airport transfers, circuit transfers and dedicated host assistance. Prices started from approximately US$460 per person.

Packages Also Target Domestic Travelers

National Archipelagic Wire reported that four package options for domestic tourists had been available since August 5, starting at approximately Rp5 million per person.

The packages are designed to simplify the logistics of attending the race, particularly for visitors traveling to Lombok specifically for MotoGP.

Tickets Are Available Separately

Travelers who do not want a bundled package can also purchase individual race tickets.

according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, presale tickets were offered through themandalikagp.com and the GOERS application, with individual ticket prices ranging from Rp320,000 for Regular Grandstand admission to Rp13.5 million for VIP Hospitality Deluxe Class.

Because the reported presale deadline was September 16, travelers should check official event channels for current ticket availability rather than relying on the earlier presale deadline.

Why the Travel Package Approach Matters

Attending an international motorsport event involves more than purchasing a ticket. Visitors need to reach Lombok, arrange accommodation, travel between the airport and circuit, and plan around a fixed race schedule.

By combining those elements, ITDC is attempting to make the event easier to organize for visitors arriving specifically for MotoGP.

The approach also links the race more closely with Lombok's wider tourism economy.

MotoGP as a Tourism Event

ITDC Operations Director and 2026 event chairman Troy Warokka described MotoGP as more than a sporting event, saying it can contribute to tourist arrivals, longer stays and tourism spending in Mandalika and Lombok.

National Archipelagic Wire reported that the 2025 Mandalika race generated Rp4.9 trillion in local economic impact, according to ITDC. The figure is an ITDC-reported estimate and should therefore be treated as an attributed figure rather than an independently calculated estimate.

Mandalika's Role in Lombok Tourism

The MotoGP weekend creates demand beyond the circuit itself, including accommodation, transportation, restaurants and other visitor services in Lombok.

The integrated travel model is therefore designed not simply to sell access to a race, but to package the journey and stay around the event.

For travelers combining islands, Mandalika can also fit into a broader Indonesia itinerary that includes Lombok and the Gili Islands.

Planning a MotoGP Trip From Bali

For travelers already in Bali, Lombok can be incorporated into a wider holiday.

Because the race weekend creates concentrated demand, accommodation and transport should be arranged with the event dates in mind.

Travelers should verify package inclusions before booking, particularly flight origin, hotel category, transfer schedules and the exact race-day ticket provided.

What Travelers Should Know

The 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia is scheduled for October 9-11 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok.

For international visitors, integrated packages provide an alternative to arranging flights, hotels, transfers and race tickets independently.

Those booking independently should use official race channels for current ticket and event information.

Editorial Takeaway

Mandalika's latest travel initiative illustrates how major sporting events can be packaged as complete tourism experiences rather than individual attractions.

according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, ITDC's 2026 program combines race tickets with accommodation, transportation and other travel services, with packages available for both domestic and international visitors.

For travelers coming from Bali, the development also makes Lombok more relevant as part of a broader island itinerary.

The 2026 race is scheduled for October 9-11, giving visitors a defined window to combine MotoGP with a stay in Lombok and exploration of the surrounding region.
