Singaraja, Bali (National Archipelagic Wire) - The Buleleng Regency Government, Bali is optimizing final preparations ahead of the 2026 Lovina Festival which will be held from 24-29 July 2026 as an effort to boost tourism.

"We ask all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to ensure their respective readiness so that the festival takes place safely, orderly and comfortably for tourists because the Lovina Festival is part of the Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2026," said Chair of the 2026 Lovina Festival Committee, Putu Ayu Reika Nurhaeni, in the Meeting Room of the Buleleng Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Monday. The festival will present various attractions including mini sailboat races, RUN, Cross Country, Gerumbungan Cow Race, Fish Eating, cultural arts performances, and modern musical entertainment.

The Lovina Festival is expected to increase tourist visits, stimulate the community's economy, while strengthening Lovina's position as one of the leading tourist destinations in North Bali.

To support the smooth running of the event, the Transportation Service has prepared 10 parking lots spread across the festival area with the support of Kalibukbuk Village and Kaliasem Village to anticipate vehicle congestion.

From a security perspective, Satpol PP together with related elements will carry out screening, patrols and security at 14 strategic points during the festival. The Fire and Rescue Service (Damkar) also alerted personnel to anticipate emergency conditions, while the Health Service prepared medical services for visitors.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Service (DLH) has placed a number of Temporary Shelters (TPS) in the activity area and scheduled cleaning of the festival area three times a day. MSMEs are also asked to manage waste from the source to maintain the cleanliness of tourist areas.

"In the economic sector, the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (Disdagperinkop UKM) has curated 82 MSME players so that the products marketed are of the best quality and able to attract tourist interest," he said.
