For tourists or local residents in Bali, there are many choices of activities to enjoy when traveling to the beaches in Bali. However, enjoying the atmosphere of the sunrise on the beach while exercising with gym facilities that you may have never experienced before.

This gym, whose equipment is dominated by wooden materials, can be used for free by anyone. Its location facing directly to the sea means visitors can exercise while enjoying the fresh air and sunrise at Nusa Dua Beach, Badung.

One of the visitors from Kedonganan, Putu Surya (25), was enthusiastic about trying out the gym facilities. According to him, the open gym concept provides a different experience compared to fitness centers in general.

Surya makes more use of weight lifting equipment such as barbells and dumbbells. He assessed that the available facilities are quite complete even though they can be used free of charge.

"Unlike gyms in general which are indoor, here it's outdoor. So, where we lift weights and exercise we are directly exposed to sunlight, which is good," said Surya when met by regional observers.

Surya also praised the equipment of this gym even though it is free. Apart from weight equipment, calisthenic equipment is also provided such as gymnastics rings, or self-defense equipment as punch bags.

However, the part that he thinks is the most special is the concept of this gym which uses wood. All gym equipment here is made from environmentally friendly materials.

"This really carries the concept of sustainability. It really uses nature because it happens to be in nature," said Surya.

Another visitor, Sai Nandani (25), found out about the existence of the gym after seeing it several times on social media. Initially he thought the facility was only intended for hotel or paying guests. However, after trying it directly, the woman who is familiarly called Nanda was able to try all the gym facilities free of charge.

"I'm curious, is it actually free or paid? Because some say this is specifically for hotel guests, there are those who stay overnight, but it turns out it's free," he said.
