A local tourist confessed that he was expelled from Blue Lagoon Beach, Padangbai Village, Manggis District, Karangasem while he was eating. The shop owner finally spoke up and provided an explanation based on the facts on the ground at that time.

The stall owner, Luh Putu Susiani, said that 5 local tourists came around mid-June 2026. Then 1 person was on the beach not bathing or snorkeling just sitting around. Meanwhile, the remaining 4 people were at the stall, 3 of them ordered food and 1 person only ordered a drink.

After finishing eating, the four people then played cards that they had brought themselves while laughing a little loudly for quite a long time. Then the stall owner told the local tourists not to play cards for too long.

"I didn't chase them away, I just asked them not to play cards for too long, especially since they had finished eating for a long time," said Susiani, Friday (10/7/2026).

Because the table capacity in his stall is limited, especially in the afternoon, many tourists, both foreign and local, come to eat. He also admitted that so far he has never discriminated against tourists who come.

After being told that, the four people then immediately paid at the cashier and called their friend who was on the beach and left without saying a word. They also admitted that they did not know that the tourist ended up making a video that went viral.

"I previously told visitors after they finished eating to sit on the edge of the beach where there were chairs when it was busy, because there were other visitors coming. They wanted to obey without any problems like now," said Susiani.

He also admitted that up until now he had never prohibited anyone from carrying out activities on the beach because it is a public place. At that time, he went because his friend called him to go home.

"I didn't know at first that the incident had gone viral, because I don't use social media, I was told by my employees. I was also confused at first because I didn't feel like they had kicked them out," said Susiani.

As previously reported, a video of local tourists claiming to have been thrown out at Blue Lagoon Beach, Padangbai Village, Manggis District, Karangasem, went viral on social media (social media). The local tourist was chased away by the stall owner at Blue Lagoon Beach because there would be foreign tourists (tourists) coming to visit and they were afraid they wouldn't get a place.
