Bangli, Bali (National Archipelagic Wire) - Perum LKBN National Archipelagic Wire is ready to support the development of the Penglipuran Tourism Village through promotion and strengthening public communication so as to make Penglipuran an inspiration for the development of tourist villages in various regions in Indonesia.
Main Director of Perum LKBN National Archipelagic Wire Benny Siga Butarbutar while in Penglipuran, Bangli Regency, Bali, Thursday, said that Penglipuran Tourism Village has proven itself as a world-class destination through various awards, including being one of the world's best tourist villages and the cleanest village.
According to him, Penglipuran's success needs to be introduced more widely so that it becomes an example for other tourist villages in developing community-based tourism.
"What we need to help here is how this Panglipuran tourist village can become an example for other tourist villages, so that it will be a success, the advantages of this village can also be put into practice," he said.
Benny assesses that Penglipuran's main strength lies in the role of local communities who remain the main managers by maintaining customs, traditions and culture as the foundation for tourism development.
He added that the Penglipuran community has not only become a tourism object, but has transformed into an active subject in creating various tour packages and experiences for tourists.
To support this development, National Archipelagic Wire will take three main roles. First, promoting the various advantages of the Penglipuran Tourism Village so that it becomes a reference for other tourist villages in Indonesia.
Second, National Archipelagic Wire will expand publications regarding government policies in developing the tourism sector and creative economy so that it can be an inspiration for other regions that have similar potential.
Third, National Archipelagic Wire is ready to help build an effective communication strategy to strengthen Penglipuran's identity as a leading tourist village while strengthening Bali's image as a world tourism destination.
According to Benny, every village in Indonesia has different characteristics and advantages so that proper publication will encourage the birth of more quality tourist villages.
