Badung holds the Singasari Expo, strengthening the people's economy and preserving culture

Badung (National Archipelagic Wire) - The Badung Regency Government, Bali, is trying to strengthen the people's economic sector and cultural preservation through support for community-organized activities such as Singasari Expo IV in 2026.

"Singasari Expo is a momentum that strengthens the role of MSMEs, advances art studios, and preserves regional traditional and cultural values," said Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa in a statement received in Mangupura, Friday.

He said this activity provided ample space for local MSME players to expand their markets, increase the competitiveness of superior products, and introduce the region's potential to the wider community.

According to him, this step is in line with the Badung Regency Government's commitment to encouraging development based on local wisdom and community empowerment.

"So the activities organized by the Blahkiuh Village Government together with the Singasari Blahkiuh Youth Organization are a means of developing the community's economy and preserving very valuable culture," he said.

To support the potential of the local community, the Badung Regency Government also has a strategic plan to build a football field and city park in Blahkiuh Village.

"We project that this facility can become a suitable public space for sports facilities, family recreation, as well as a center for community social activities," said Regent Adi Arnawa.

Perbekel or Head of Blahkiuh Village, IB. Gede Mahatma Nanda Manuaba explained that the Singasari Expo had proven to make a real contribution to improving the village economy.

Apart from being able to move the wheels of the community's economy, this activity is also considered to be able to preserve local arts and culture in Badung.

"We designed this activity specifically as a forum for empowerment for MSMEs, art studio groups, as well as developing the village's superior potential as a whole," he explained.
