Thousands of participants crowded the Jatiluwih Tourist Destination Area (DTW), Penebel, Tabanan on Sunday morning (21/6/2026). They took part in the Bali Tourism Run activities held by the Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali in collaboration with the Bali Provincial Government.

However, the views presented are also good. Runners can enjoy views of the terraced rice fields and be greeted by the sunrise behind Mount Adeng.

During the run, the participants ran while capturing moments in several good spots, many of whom made video content, photos with the community, and selfies behind the view of Mount Batukaru.

One of the running participants, Addin (36), shared his experience while enjoying running in Jatiluwih. "The view is really good, but the challenge turns out to be quite good, so it's a bit of a semi-trail, I think," said Addin when we met him after the run.

Meanwhile, another participant, Peggy (35), admitted that it was her first time running in Jatiluwih on a track that was like a trail run. According to him, a track like this provides motivation to reach the finish line.

"It was really exciting, to be honest. Honestly, I didn't expect it. Downhill first, then the uphill was quite good. But it was really exciting. It's rare for us to run in the city like that. Now running in the view is what makes us survive," said Peggy.

He admitted that the initial kilometers were quite draining mentally and mentally. However, he continued with the motivation of beautiful views.
