D'Youth Fest is a platform for creative talent in Denpasar

Denpasar (National Archipelagic Wire) - Mayor of Denpasar I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara emphasized that the Denpasar Youth Festival (D'Youth Fest) 6.0 is a stage for the birth of creative talents of the younger generation as well as a space to develop innovations that have an impact on the city's development.

Jaya Negara in Denpasar, Sunday, stated that D'Youth Fest was held as a forum for young people to channel their ideas, creativity and potential. Through this festival, the young generation is encouraged not only to work, but also to be able to create innovations that add value and increase competitiveness.

"D'Youth Fest provides space for the young generation to create actions, react and produce creations. This is a momentum to strengthen the optimism of Denpasar youth to be more creative and competitive," said Jaya Negara.

According to him, D'Youth Fest is also the peak of appreciation for various creative works of young people and supports the development of Dharma Negara Alaya (DNA) and Plaza Suci as the center of the creative economy of Denpasar City.

The Denpasar City Government hopes that this festival will be able to open up more opportunities for the younger generation to develop while driving the creative economy.

D'Youth Fest 6.0 opened with a spectacular collaboration on Ogoh-ogoh Gajah by ST Yowana Saka Bhuwana Banjar Taensiat with Palawara Music Company and Manubada Art entitled Growing Again in the Middle of the Ruins of the Universe.

The performance combines traditional art, colossal dance and environmental conservation messages in line with the festival theme Feel The Growth.

Meanwhile, Head of the Denpasar City Tourism Office, Luh Putu Ryastiti, said that the entire D'Youth Fest series involved dozens of creative communities, MSME players, as well as local and national musicians as an effort to strengthen the creative economic ecosystem.

Apart from being a space for expression, this festival also carries out a campaign to care for the environment through implementing more integrated waste management during the event.

With the spirit of collaboration, it is hoped that D'Youth Fest 6.0 will continue to be a space for the birth of creative works by young people who are able to strengthen Denpasar's identity as a culture-based creative city while encouraging sustainable creative economic growth.
