Entrance tickets to Ulun Danu Beratan will increase starting July 1 2026, this is the price

The management of the Ulun Danu Beratan Tourist Destination Area (DTW), Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan, confirmed that it will increase the entrance ticket rate for tourists starting July 1 2026. The tariff adjustment applies to domestic and foreign tourists visiting the lake tourist area and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple.

Director of PT Ulun Danu Beratan Lestari, I Wayan Mustika, explained that the ticket rate for adult domestic tourists has been standardized to IDR 50,000. Previously, the entry fee was priced at IDR 40,000 on weekdays and IDR 50,000 on weekends and national holidays.

Meanwhile, the entrance ticket for domestic tourists for children has increased from IDR 20,000 to IDR 25,000. For foreign tourists, adult rates have increased from IDR 75,000 to IDR 100,000. Meanwhile, children's tickets have increased from IDR 50,000 to IDR 75,000.

"This ticket price adjustment was made after the management carried out a comparative study to a number of other tourist destinations. Apart from that, it took into consideration improving service quality, area management and developing cultural attractions in the area," said Mustika, Monday (22/6/2026).

Even though rates have increased, managers remain optimistic that this policy will not affect the number of tourist visits to Ulun Danu Beratan DTW.

To maintain tourist interest, the management regularly displays various Balinese arts and cultural performances. Every first and second week, visitors can watch performances of the Barong Dance, Kecak Dance, and various other traditional arts.

"Strengthening cultural attractions is also one of the strategies to improve the tourist experience while introducing the richness of Balinese culture to domestic and foreign tourists," he stressed.

Apart from presenting cultural attractions, the management also continues to provide a number of special promotions for groups and travel agents even though ticket rates have experienced adjustments.

The discounts given range from 20 to 30 percent. It is hoped that this policy can maintain tourists' interest in visiting one of the leading tourist destinations in Bali.

"We hope that with various cultural attractions and improved facilities, tourists will still be interested in visiting Ulun Danu Beratan even though there are tariff adjustments," concluded Mustika.
