Finally, SID performs for the first time in Nusa Lembongan

The legendary punk rock band from Bali, Superman Is Dead (SID), performed for the first time in Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali, Monday (7/9/2026). This was even questioned by SID vocalist, Bobby Kool, when greeting his fans at the start of the performance.

"Finally, finally, Superman Is Dead can come to Lembongan Island tonight. This is the first time Superman Is Dead has come to Lembongan. What's wrong with you guys? Even though we are very close. Why are you inviting SID for the first time? This is heavy, heavy-heavy-heavy," joked Bobby Cool in the middle of his performance, greeted by cheers from fans.

The band, consisting of Bobby Kool, Eka Rock and Jerinx, performed to close the 2006 Lembongan Surf Team (LST) Surfing & Music Festival at Mahagiri Resort, Lembongan Island.

Appearing to close the series of events, the presence of the band singing "Kuat Kita Bersinar" was the highlight of the excitement and the main attraction at the Lembongan Surfing and Music Festival organized by the Lembongan Surf Team (LST).

The atmosphere that night was suddenly thunderous and succeeded in breaking the enthusiasm of the thousands of spectators who crowded the stage area on the beach.

The long wait for the Outsiders and Lady Rose, as well as tourists on Nusa Lembongan, was finally paid off with an energetic and enthusiastic closing performance.

Chairman of LST, I Nyoman Sastrawan, explained that this year his party was proud because it could present a second event that was bigger than before, namely the Lembongan Surfing & Music Festival. This event combines surfing competitions, music festivals and the participation of local MSMEs.

"At this year's event, we are presenting the national band Superman Is Dead, which will certainly make this event even more special and provide wider exposure to introduce Nusa Lembongan to the people of Indonesia and the world," said Sastrawan.

According to him, Lembongan Surf Team (LST) is not just a surfing community. For more than 25 years, LST has been a forum for developing a positive and accomplished generation of young surfers.

"In the midst of rapid technological developments and various challenges faced by young people today, we are trying to direct them to activities that are healthy, disciplined and build character," he explained.
