Galungan Holiday, Buyan Lake Becomes Residents' Favorite Fishing Spot

Buleleng residents take advantage of the Galungan holiday in various ways. One of them is enjoying the natural atmosphere while fishing in the Buyan Lake area, Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng, Bali.

according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, residents and tourists have been coming to the Buyan Lake area since morning. The lake in the highlands is a favorite fishing spot for North Bali residents during Umanis Galungan or the day after Galungan Day.

Dozens of anglers were seen sitting in a row with fishing rods pointing at the surface of the calm water. Not only fishing, some visitors also spread out mats under shady trees to picnic with their families.

A number of children were running around the area around the lake. Meanwhile, parents enjoyed provisions brought from home while enjoying the natural panorama of Lake Buyan enveloped in cool mountain air.

Komang Aditya, one of the visitors, admitted that he deliberately came to Lake Buyan with his friends to spend time on holiday. For him, fishing at Buyan Lake is a simple way to enjoy the Galungan holiday while unwinding from the daily routine.

"In Galungan, it's usually a family gathering. We're looking for a relaxed atmosphere here. The air is cool, the views are good, and we're also fishing," said Aditya.

According to Aditya, the atmosphere of Lake Buyan during the Galungan holiday always has its own charm. Apart from its beautiful nature, this location is also a gathering place for people from various regions.

"It's busy, but still comfortable. Many people come with their families. Children can also enjoy the natural atmosphere here," he added.

Another visitor, Putu Agus Gunawan, paid three dollars. He considers Lake Buyan to be a relatively affordable tourist option for local people.

"You don't need to spend a lot of money to enjoy the view, fishing and picnic with your family," said Agus.
