Denpasar (National Archipelagic Wire) - The Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (KEK) attracted nearly five thousand visitors during the two-day Bali Flower Festival (BFF) 2026.

"BFF 2026 is targeting the number of visitors to reach 3,000 to 3,500 people, but the enthusiasm of visitors this year is much higher, with 4,813 visitors packed into the UID Bali Campus, KEK Kura Kura Bali for two days," said BFF 2026 Committee Chair Yuliana Rara in Denpasar, Friday. He explained that the number of visits in this third year increased by around 38 percent from the organizers' expectations, showing the great enthusiasm of flower lovers on the Island of the Gods.

The flower festival brings hundreds of types of flowers, including those that are rare on the market, which aims to provide a collaboration space for art activists and flower arrangement MSMEs.

With the theme Grow Authentically, this festival apart from displaying flowers also includes various supporting agendas such as seminars, business panel sessions, and workshops in which each class is attended by hundreds of flower lovers.

"The thing that differentiates the previous BFF from the 2026 is the involvement of MSMEs. We recruited many MSMEs to enliven the event, some of them actually have flower shop businesses, and many also bring a variety of other businesses," said Yuliana.

As one of the main attractions, BFF 2026 presents the Flower Museum in the Melajah Room, UID Bali Campus, which is a gallery that displays masterpieces from dozens of Indonesian designers.

According to him, apart from the series of flower festivals which attracted a large number of visitors, the choice of campus in the middle of an area that was gaining fame was the reason.

"Many participants felt that the Kura Kura Bali SEZ is not too formal, with a campus concept, it is very easy for Gen Z children to get involved and unite, the spots here are also very interesting for them, especially as the size of the Kura Kura Bali SEZ really supports creative activities like this," said Yuliana.

Meanwhile, UID Foundation President Tantowi Yahya added that the success of this flower festival is not only seen from the high number of visitors, but also the success of the area in accommodating creative industry players in the field of flower art.

"Because of that, we are very happy that the Bali Flower Festival will take place at the UID Bali Campus, KEK Kura Kura Bali. For us, this festival is not just a flower exhibition, it is a place where creativity meets business opportunities," he said.
