Enjoying the beautiful natural atmosphere doesn't always have to go far into the mountains. On the edge of Semarapura City, Klungkung, Bali, there is a hidden gem called Unda River Camp which offers a camping experience on the banks of the Unda River with entrance tickets starting from IDR 15 thousand.
Located in Banjar Sengguan, Semarapura Kangin Village, this place has long been one of the favorite destinations for camping lovers. Not only Klungkung residents, visitors from various regions in Bali also often spend time in this camping area.
Unda River Camp started operating at the end of 2021 after the COVID-19 pandemic. Until now, the natural atmosphere is still maintained, making it suitable as a place for healing with friends, partners and family.
The manager of Unda River Camp, Kadek Arimbawa, said that the atmosphere in the camping area is still very beautiful with the flow of the Unda River being the main attraction. Apart from that, the temperature at the location is also quite friendly so that visitors remain comfortable while camping.
"The temperature at the location is not too cold, so it is very comfortable to relax. However, the water conditions around the campsite really depend on the weather," said Arimbawa when met by regional observers at the campsite, Saturday (18/7/2026).
Not only enjoying the river view, visitors can also play in the water or bathe. The management has prepared a special area that is safe for children because the current is not too strong and the water depth is relatively shallow.
When regional observers visited, the water condition of the Unda River looked murky due to the heavy rain that flushed the Klungkung area the previous night.
"If it doesn't rain, the water is very clear and tempts us to bathe," explained Arimbawa.
Regarding eating matters, visitors also don't need to worry. In the camping area, there is a restaurant that serves a variety of food and drinks. Meanwhile, for those who want to enjoy the barbecue atmosphere or cook for themselves, the manager provides free grills at several points in the camping area.
Camping at Unda River Camp is also relatively pocket friendly. Entrance tickets are priced at IDR 15 thousand per person.
