Blue Lagoon Beach is still busy with tourists. This tourist attraction, which is located in Padangbai Village, Manggis District, Karangasem, Bali, went viral after a local tourist admitted that he was kicked out by the shop owner on the beach.
Kadek Suriati, one of the providers of diving and snorkeling equipment at Blue Lagoon Beach, said that visits increase at weekends. Not only foreign tourists, domestic tourists are also busy visiting this beach which is famous for its underwater beauty.
"Every day quite a lot of people come to snorkel and dive, around 50-100 people a day. It can even be more on certain days," said Kadek Suriati, Sunday (12/7/2026).
Even so, Suriati admits that not all tourists rent snorkeling and diving equipment from her. Because, he said, a number of tourists had brought their own equipment.
"The rental rate for diving and snorkeling equipment is around Rp. 60 thousand to Rp. 75 thousand per person for the standard package. If the equipment is complete, it is around Rp. 85 thousand-Rp. 100 thousand per person," added Suriati.
Luh Putu Susiani worth three money. He said that only 50 percent of tourists come to rent diving and snorkeling equipment at this beach.
"Most people come to do diving and snorkeling, usually in the afternoon there will be lots of tourists," said Susiani.
Blue Lagoon Beach is one of the underwater tourist attractions in the eastern Bali region apart from Amed and Tulamben. A number of volunteers regularly regenerate coral reefs on the white sandy beach.
Apart from enjoying the underwater beauty, tourists can also just sunbathe while ordering food and drinks. So far, visitors to Blue Lagoon Beach do not have admission tickets. Tourists only need to pay IDR 2,000 for parking for motorbikes and IDR 5,000 for cars.
