Banjar Nyuh Port Levy Barcode Viral Reused, Police Intervene

Nusa Penida Police are investigating allegations of embezzlement of tourist fees by officers at Banjar Nyuh Port, Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali. This was done after receiving complaints from residents who were content creators.

Nusa Penida Police Chief Commissioner I Ketut Kesuma Jaya confirmed that there was a report from a content creator named Alit Werdi Suputra. From this report, his party will carry out an investigation process.

"That's right. Today we received a complaint from residents who are content creators regarding alleged embezzlement of retribution money by officers. Furthermore, from this report we will immediately carry out an investigation," said Kesuma Jaya according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, Tuesday (7/7/2026).

Regarding the evidence and clues that residents also submitted to the police, Kesuma emphasized that he would first confirm the truth.

"What is clear is that we received the complaint and will carry out an investigation," he stressed.

The process of complaints about alleged embezzlement of retribution money which resulted in this report being viral by a content creator with the account name Alit Werdi Suputra. In his upload on Facebook, Alit shows the visitor levy barcode which shows it has been used or used up when scanned.

In the video, Alit even disguised himself to prove that there were indications of cheating by levy officers when receiving tourists. However, after his cover was discovered, he openly interviewed a number of officers and immediately tried the barcodes or e-tickets handed over by tourists.

It is not yet known whether the report submitted to the Nusa Penida Police was accompanied by some evidence or was just a complaint from the public. Until this news was written, the content creator with the account name Alit Werdi Suputra had not responded according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents.
