Latest Situation & Advisory Details
Closures are enforced at all entrances to the TNBTS area, namely Cemorolawang, Wonokitri, Jemplang, Coban Trisula, and Senduro. This policy will take effect on Saturday (8/8/2026) at 22.00 WIB until an undetermined time limit.
"For visitors who have purchased entrance tickets via the online booking application for visits during the closure period, they will be given the opportunity to reschedule or refund," said Head of the TNBTS Center, Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha, according to regional travel authorities and bureau field correspondents, Sunday (9/8/2026).
The process of requesting a reschedule or refund can be done by filling in a special form provided by the manager. Information and instructions for filling out the form will be sent directly by the ordering portal admin officer.

"Visitors only need to complete the form that we submit via the admin of the TNBTS online booking application," explained Rudijanta.
TNBTS emphasized that the closure of access was purely for the safety of visitors and the smooth running of the fire team in the caldera area. The process of extinguishing the fire is currently still being intensified.
