The Denpasar City Government appreciates that D'Youth Fest visitors care about waste

Denpasar (National Archipelagic Wire) - The Denpasar City Government appreciates the community visiting D'Youth Fest 6.0. especially the younger generation, who are active in sorting rubbish and throwing it away in the places provided during the festival.

This concern is considered to be a concrete manifestation of the spirit of "Feel the Growth: Eco Culture" which is promoted in the youth creativity festival.

Denpasar Mayor I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara in Denpasar, Monday, said that the enthusiasm of visitors was not only visible from the busy participation in various activities, but also from the increased awareness of maintaining environmental cleanliness during the festival.

"This shows that awareness of protecting the environment is growing. Of course we still find some scattered rubbish, but overall we see a spirit of mutual cooperation and extraordinary concern from visitors. This is an important asset to continue building a better culture," said Jaya Negara.

According to him, D'Youth Fest through its eco culture theme not only provides entertainment and space for creativity, but also invites people to build new habits that care more about the environment.

"We want everyone to come to enjoy the festival, enjoy every story, work and experience presented, then go home leaving a good footprint. This footprint is not in the form of rubbish, but in the form of awareness that protecting the environment is our shared responsibility," he said.

Head of the Denpasar City Tourism Office, Ni Luh Putu Riyastiti, said that the success of a festival is not only measured by the number of visitors, but also by the growth of positive behavior shown during the event.

"We appreciate all visitors who have supported the spirit of Eco Culture through concrete actions. Awareness of sorting waste and maintaining cleanliness is part of the festival experience that we want to build. There are still several points that require attention, and that is our evaluation material so that future implementation will be better," he said.

Daily Chair of Bkraf Denpasar Ari Setiya Wibawa added that D'Youth Fest is a collaborative space that not only encourages creative economic growth, but also builds a new culture that is responsible for the environment.

He believes that creativity and concern for the environment must go hand in hand.
