Note! 7 Events in Labuan Bajo and Flores August 2026, There are Festivals to Runs

A number of events will be held in Labuan Bajo and other areas in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) during August 2026. There is the Golo Koe Festival in Labuan Bajo, the Komodo Riung Festival, and the Wolobobo Festival in Ngada Regency. Tourists can visit various events.

Acting Main Director (Plt) of the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority Executive Agency (BPOLBF) Andhy MT Marpaung said the various events show that destinations in the Floratama area offer a variety of experiences.

"The various events presented, starting from the Golo Koe Maria Asumpta Nusantara Festival, Komodo Riung Festival, Weekend at Parapuar, Flow and Glow, to the Wolobobo Festival, show that our destination offers a variety of experiences, ranging from religious, cultural, sports, natural, to lifestyle tourism," said Andhy, Sunday (9/7/2026).

Through the August 2026 Calendar of Events, he explained, BPOLBF wants to invite the public and tourists to make August the best momentum to enjoy the rich tourism of Labuan Bajo and the Floratama area.

Ceremonial Observance & Village Protocols

This event calendar is also a form of collaboration between the government, community, tourism actors and society in presenting quality attractions throughout the year.

"We hope that every event held will not only provide a memorable experience for tourists, but will also be able to stimulate the local economy, extend the length of stay for tourists, and strengthen the image of Labuan Bajo Flores as a safe, quality and sustainable tourism destination," said Andhy.
