Denpasar (National Archipelagic Wire) - The Denpasar City Government has begun exploring opportunities for cooperation with the Timor Leste Government in various strategic sectors, ranging from the creative economy, tourism, trade, industry, culture to education.

This investigation emerged when the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar I, Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, received a working visit from the Trade and Industrial Attache of the Timor Leste Consulate General in Denpasar, Apolo Justino Franca da Silva, at the Denpasar Mayor's Office, Tuesday.

Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, Arya Wibawa, said that the Denpasar City Government continues to open opportunities for cooperation with various cities and countries as part of efforts to strengthen regional development through international networks.

According to him, it is hoped that the exploration with the Timor Leste Government can continue to a more concrete stage, especially in the creative economy, business, culture and education sectors which have great potential for joint development.

"Currently, the Denpasar City Government is focusing on exploring cooperation with many parties and cities in the world as a step to develop Denpasar City," said Arya Wibawa.

Meanwhile, the Trade and Industrial Attache of the Timor Leste Consulate General in Denpasar, Apolo Justino Franca da Silva, appreciated the warm welcome from the Denpasar City Government and its commitment to building mutually beneficial cooperative relationships.

He is optimistic that the discussions held at the meeting can be the beginning of establishing agreements in various fields, as well as opening up opportunities for wider collaboration in the future.
