Situated on the golden sand dunes of northern Sanur, Segara Village has stood as a beloved family-run retreat since the 1950s, laid out like an authentic Balinese kampong (village) with thatched roofs scattered across five hectares of tropical botanical gardens. The Spa sits perched beside the beachfront promenade, catching the brisk trade winds that blow across the Badung Strait toward Nusa Penida.
The treatments celebrate the ocean’s restorative power. The Marine Mineral Cocoon pairs locally harvested Kusamba sea salt with micronized sea kelp and nourishing coconut oil to scrub away dry skin and revitalize circulation. Following a warm rain shower, an hour of rhythmic Balinese massage releases lingering back and shoulder tension. Guests finish with steaming cups of ginger-lemongrass tea in the seaside pavilion, watching local outrigger jukung fishing boats bob gently on the reef.
