The jewel of their menu is the centuries-old Royal Mandi Lulur ritual, originally devised in the 17th-century palaces of Central Java as a bridal purification ceremony. Following a firm, rhythmic Balinese massage with warm sweet almond and jasmine oils, the body is coated in a delicate paste of crushed turmeric, sandalwood powder, and rice flour to buff the epidermis to flawless radiance. A soothing layer of organic cooling yogurt is smoothed over the skin to balance natural pH, culminating in a warm soak in an oversized hand-carved stone tub heaped with fresh orchids and hibiscus blossoms.
