French Tourists Are Amazed by Seeing Various Beautiful Kites at the Rare Angon Festival

The view of giant kites welcomes every visitor who comes to Mertasari Beach, Thursday (23/7/2026). Many people flocked to the biggest kite festival in Bali at the Rare Angon Festival 2026.

Spectators from various circles scattered looking for spots to take photos with the kites being flown. As the afternoon went on, more and more spectators arrived. From local residents, domestic tourists, to foreign tourists came with the same enthusiasm on the first day of the festival.

Not a few children also brought their own kites and flew among the giant kites. Meanwhile, quite a few people also brought cameras to capture these beautiful moments.

One of them is a French tourist, Jeanne (31), who looks busy taking photos from various angles. He came with his family who were also enjoying the sight of the kites.

For this woman, the colorful view presented by the various kites was very beautiful. "The atmosphere is pleasant, everyone looks happy, the scenery is also colorful," he said when met by regional observers.

The atmosphere that Jeanne said was enough to describe the view of the sky that afternoon. Apart from various colors, the kites flown also come in various shapes. In fact, it is not a form that is generally used as a kite. The shapes of the puppet characters and Doraemon appear to be flying.

Apart from that, kites shaped like unique objects such as strawberries and jars were also flown.

For Jeanne, it was her experience enjoying a kite festival as lively as this. He said there was no such thing in France. Moreover, he can also enjoy hundreds of kites with beautiful views of the beach.

"In my country there are no big kites. Moreover, the beach views like this are very beautiful," he said.

The Rare Angon Festival will still be held until next Sunday (26/7/2026). The giant kite festival will be held until Friday (23/7/2026) tomorrow. Furthermore, a traditional kite festival will be held on the last two days of the festival.
