By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any portion of this website, its APIs, curated regional guides, safety radars, AI concierge tools, or booking interfaces, you ("User", "Traveler", or "Partner") unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

BaliExpertGuide operates as an independent digital travel intelligence platform and curated media authority. We provide boots-on-the-ground editorial analysis across Bali’s 16 canonical destination hubs and regional expeditions throughout the Indonesian archipelago. Unless explicitly stated otherwise for direct transfer dispatch, BaliExpertGuide is an informational and referral platform, not an Online Travel Agency (OTA), direct carrier, or hotelier.

Our accommodation directory indexes over 71,000 properties across Indonesia. When you explore hotel listings and click outbound reservation options, you are redirected to certified third-party distribution partners, predominantly Agoda (Agoda Company Pte. Ltd.) or Booking.com.

While we rigorously audit property credentials, room details, and real-world amenities (such as Grab/Gojek road access and genuine daylight orientation), rates and availability displayed via partner widgets are live data feeds controlled by external partners and may fluctuate without notice.

Activities and excursions showcased across BaliExpertGuide (including cultural heritage walks, volcanic summit treks, diving expeditions, and surf coaching) are fulfilled either through verified local Indonesian operators or reputable global reservation channels (such as Klook and Viator).

Participants in outdoor, marine, or adventure activities acknowledge that Indonesian tropical terrain, open-sea currents (e.g. Badung Strait, Nusa Penida, Komodo National Park), and volcanic trails carry inherent physical hazards. Travelers are required to hold comprehensive personal travel insurance covering emergency evacuation and medical repatriation. BaliExpertGuide assumes no liability for personal injury, equipment loss, or schedule alterations resulting from weather, marine swell advisories, or operator execution.

When reserving private airport arrival transfers or bespoke concierge dispatch through our platform:

• Payments & Processing: Transactions are securely processed through Bank Indonesia-licensed gateways (Midtrans for Indonesian Rupiah and local QRIS/virtual accounts) or Stripe Inc. for international credit and debit cards. BaliExpertGuide does not store raw credit card numbers on its servers.
• Flight Tracking & Waiting Time: Complimentary waiting time at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is 90 minutes from confirmed flight touchdown. Travelers are obligated to furnish accurate flight numbers and provide real-time updates via WhatsApp in case of carrier delays.
• Cancellations: Standard airport transfers may be cancelled with a full refund up to 24 hours prior to scheduled flight arrival. Cancellations inside 24 hours or traveler no-shows are non-refundable.

Travelers must exercise common sense regarding road congestion, rural access, tropical stamina, and maritime crossing feasibility. Automated suggestions do not constitute a warranty of safety or operational status of referenced establishments.

Hoteliers and villa management companies submitting property claims via /partner/claim-hotel represent and warrant that they possess lawful management authority for the property. Submission of fraudulent documents, unauthorized business licenses (NIB), or misleading property imagery constitutes grounds for immediate blacklisting and notification of Indonesian tourism authorities.

All text, curated itineraries, original photography, destination boundary cartography, radar visualization interfaces, and software architectures contained on BaliExpertGuide are the proprietary intellectual property of BaliExpertGuide and protected under Indonesian Copyright Law (UU No. 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta) and international copyright conventions.

You are strictly prohibited from using automated scrapers, crawlers, data mining bots, or AI ingestion pipelines to harvest our property listings, pricing indices, editorial takes, or telemetry feeds without prior written consent from BaliExpertGuide.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BaliExpertGuide, its directors, officers, correspondents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this Platform or any third-party services linked through it.

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control ("Force Majeure"), including but not limited to volcanic ash clouds (e.g. Mount Agung, Mount Lewotobi), seismic events, tsunamis, severe maritime weather, civil unrest, regional power grid failures, epidemic quarantines, or sudden border closures enacted by the Republic of Indonesia.

These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to their interpretation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, specifically including the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE No. 11/2008 as amended by UU No. 1/2024) and the Consumer Protection Law (UU No. 8/1999).

Any controversy or claim arising out of these terms shall first be addressed through good-faith amicable consultation between the parties. In the event a resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) business days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Denpasar (Pengadilan Negeri Denpasar), Bali, Indonesia.
